At the PechaKucha Kuopio vol. 12, the Future DiverCities Lab Artists and The Map Consortium will share their practice and after work moods in images!

ANTI Festival will host an experimental artist residence ”Lab” as a part of the Future DiverCities project between 23rd and 30th October 2016 in Kuopio, Finland. Four artists from the field of urban, digital, sound and community art will gather together to work in collaboration.

The Lab will provide an opportunity for artists to experiment, collaborate and engage with the citizens and urban context of Kuopio. The results and non-results of the working period will be shared in different forms during the ANTI Prize Weekend between 27th and 29th October 2016.

The Lab will be hosted by ANTI Festival in partnership with creative facilitators The Map Consortium (UK).

Anniina Aunola (FI)

Finnish, Kuopio based dance artist and pioneer in community art.

Antye Greie-Ripatti (DE/FI)
Digital songwriter, sound composer, poetress, curator and educator from Germany, based in Hailuoto, Finland.

HC Gilje (NO)
Norwegian artist working in installation, experimental video, live performance and set design.

Jens Beyer / The Constitute (DE)
A Berlin based artist working on visual language for public space using digital and physical expressions.

Chris Higgins / The Map Consortium (UK)

Future DiverCities – Creativity in an Urban Context is an innovative international collaboration between 9 cultural organisations from 8 countries. Future DiverCities is co-financed by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Commission.
