Future Divercities: Interludes

Wednesday 28.10.       14.00 – 16.00

Festival Centre |  Haapaniemenkatu 20 (H-talo)
Accessible Event – Discussions in Finnish

The Future DiverCities consortium presents a series of remote Interludes at the end of the project. The events will take place in Zagreb (CR), Liepaja (LV), Kuopio (FI), Bergen (NO), Berlin (DE) and Marseille (FR) from 17th September until 20th December 2020.

Interludes is not a conclusive chapter but rather a series of artistic acts, opening new perspectives and visions.

We focus on issues related to near-future prospects for diverse and growing cities, the change of use of public spaces – incurred by the current sanitary crisis, for example – as well as to the urgent need to make our cities ecologically, socially, culturally and economically more sustainable and more livable.

In Kuopio, local artists and other participants of the Future DiverCities labs (2016-
2019) get together to discuss the themes of the Interludes series!
