Ars Libera (FI): Untitled
On Saturday the Market Square will be taken by colourful characters who will initiate the audience into the art of live painting. Some members of the Kuopio Artists Association, Ars Libera, will set up a multidimensional performance, Untitled, that draws from dialogue and music.The viewers need not just stand by and watch how the various techniques work but they are actually encouraged to participate in the art-making.
Ulla Remes, Sami Korkiakoski, Maijariitta Karhulahti and Sinikka Kosonen will be among the Ars Libera members who will feature in the event.

Kuopio Artists Association, Ars Libera, was founded as an organisation for professional artists in 1958. The organisation’s aim is to increase and promote exhibition and work opportunities for artists and to improve their conditions in Northern Savo.
