ANTI Prize Weekend starts tomorrow in Kuopio!

ANTI Prize Weekend will take place around the ANTI Festival International Prize for Live Art between 27th and 29th October 2016 in Kuopio, Finland. The event celebrates today’s most explosive live artists and international collaboration projects.

ANTI Festival will also host an experimental artist residency “Lab” as a part of the Future DiverCities project in Kuopio between 23rd and 30th October. The Lab Artists will share
the working period during the ANTI Prize Weekend.

Thursday 27.10.

The Future DiverCities Lab Artists and their creative facilitator The Map Consortium will share their practice and after work moods in images!

Friday 28.10.

The 2015 Winner of the ANTI Prize for Live Art has created a new work for Kuopio. At this interdisciplinary event, we will farewell the technology that has formed us, with performance, sound, documentary and pathos!

Saturday 29.10.

17.30 – 18.30 Future DiverCities: Launching to Kuopio
Kuopio Academy of Design (Piispankatu Street 8)

Future DiverCities project will take part in the Curators’ Day event organized by the local artist association Ars Libera. We will discuss about the co-curation and Artist Labs of the project.

20.00 till late ANTI Prize Party
Restaurant Puikkari (Maaherrankatu Street 5)

The 2016 Winner of the ANTI Festival International Prize for Live Art will be announced, and a Massive Party will be followed by the prize ceremony!
