An Experimental Artist Residence in Kuopio
ANTI Festival will host an experimental artist residence “Lab” as a part of the Future DiverCities project between 23rd and 30th October 2016. Four artists from the field of urban, digital, sound and community art will gather together in Kuopio to work in collaboration.
The Kuopio Lab is the first of the 19 Artist Labs which will test and develop the practical approaches of Future DiverCities’ vision and mission during the project (2016-2020).
The Lab will provide an opportunity for artists to experiment, collaborate and engage with the citizens and urban context of Kuopio. The results and non-results of the working period will be shared in different forms during the ANTI Prize Weekend between 27th and 29th October 2016. ANTI Festival will communicate about the public performances and interventions by the Lab Artists on its website and social media during the event!
The Lab will be hosted by ANTI Festival in partnership with creative facilitators The Map Consortium (UK).
