Archinfo, the Information Centre for Finnish Architecture, organizes a discussion event about Kuopio’s local architecture in cooperation with the ANTI festival and the city of Kuopio.
The discussion event will focus on the history of Kuopio’s local architecture, its importance for the city of Kuopio’s identity, and its future. The discussion event is open and free to everyone.
The event is organized as part of the Future DiverCities project. Future DiverCities explores the possibilities of using empty spaces in cities and the potential of participatory art projects in creating urban culture and communal urban environments.
The program of ANTI pre-party includes, in addition to the discussion session on Kuopio’s local architecture, also the closing seminar of the new local architectural political development working group. The development work group is coordinated by the Art Promotion Center, and the ANTI festival is one of the members of the work group.
The event is organized in the framework of the Future DiverCities 2 project, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
