The closing seminar of the new local architectural policy development working group is an open discussion event for everyone interested in architectural policy. The language of the seminar is Finnish.
Local effects – cultural participation as a force for architectural political change is the closing seminar of the joint work of the new architectural political development group established by the Art Promotion Center.
During the summer of 2022, eight different projects were selected for the architectural policy development group through an open call. The members of the working group represent a wide range of local architecture policy perspectives and actors; municipalities, local working groups and cultural actors are involved. The projects vary from individual building sites to development areas and local architectural programs. There are also subjects of resident-oriented planning, building heritage, circular economy and architectural education.
The closing seminar will include speeches from the group’s culture cluster, a panel of projects and speeches.
The event is organized in the framework of the Future DiverCities 2 project, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
