A Piece of Space art project continues in May and June

Artist Tea Andreoletti’s project continues with workshops and meetings.

The workshops and meetings are a part of the A Piece of Space art project. Anyone interested in the questions of social and environmental justice and civic action are warmly invited to join and collaborate in this artistic project at Culture Workshop Konepaja throughout the year 2025!

Participate in workshops on May 28th and June 4th

During the workshops we’ll start working on the preparation of the performative gathering that will take place at the Culture Workshop Konepaja for the ANTI Festival Opening (September 9th) and Festival Club (September 13th). Find out more.

Together, we’ll go through the stories, events and encounters that have happened in Konepaja over the last year and explore how we could arrange and host the space during the ANTI Festival in order to convey a political message about the importance of open, citizen-driven cultural spaces. During the two workshops we’ll be working with mapping, storytelling and water tasting as tools for collecting memories.

Come and meet Tea Andreoletti between May 28th and June 4th

Between May 28th and June 4th, Tea Andreoletti will be at Konepaja, working in the space, taking part in its activities, and engaging with the community. Each day from 4pm to 7pm, you are welcome to meet Tea, whether to continue work started during the workshop, collect materials that might be useful for the project, or simply learn more if you weren’t able to attend the sessions.

A Piece of Space is produced in the framework of the Future DiverCities 2 project, co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, the Finnish National Agency of Education and the City of Kuopio.
