The excursion starts at Galleria Ars Libera (Maaherrankatu 3, Kuopio).
The students from Art and Media Department of Aalto University will carry out diverse projects, interventions, performances and exhibitions in public spaces.
How is the world different at night time? What kind of observations can we make in the darkened city? Come on a field trip to Kuopio at night!
On the guided excursion we make observations about the environment and the dark time by writing, drawing and photographing. The collected material will be used in an exhibition at the Gallery Ars Libera, which will be open for visitors after the trip.
This project is part of a long-term collaboration between ANTI Festival and Aalto University, in which the festival serves as a platform for a course in artistic research.
