KSO goes ANTI

An ensemble of the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra will perform at the ANTI Festival at the Kuopio Museum. The ensemble’s mini-concert will feature contemporary music that reflects the spirit of the festival.
The programme includes, among other works, ESS for flute and trombone (2009) by Eric Maestri and ?Corporel (1985) by Vinko Globokar, a piece that incorporates the percussionist’s body as an integral part of the performance.
The ensemble consists of Päivi Väisänen (flute), Jonathan Roskilly (trombone), Sho Kubota (percussion), Karoliina Komulainen (clarinet), and Juhana Ritakorpi (cello).
