You may arrive in the venue and spend time there as you wish. You can bring material for your “home base”. The event is suitable for families with children.

The students from Art and Media Department of Aalto University will carry out diverse projects, interventions, performances and exhibitions in public spaces.
What is the meaning of home? Which objects are there and what do you do there? What can you not do in a home base set in a public space?
Use a picnic blanket, pizza box, street chalks, rag rug, rucksacks, stones etc. to mark and reclaim a small home base for yourself. Take your home to the city and make yourself at home. Take part in a drawing/writing assignment, get to know your neighbours, ask your friends to visit you.
Spend the whole day or just sit down for a while. If you can, bring materials, a packed meal, games and musical instruments to create your home base. Please also be considerate of your potential neighbours. The event is alcohol-free and drugs-free.
This project is part of a long-term collaboration between ANTI Festival and Aalto University, in which the festival serves as a platform for a course in artistic research.
