Vera Nevanlinna (FI): Ode to Liget

Forty Duracell-bunnies will drum an ode to György Liget. Dancer Vera Nevanlinna’s performance piece Ode to Liget is a visual musical recital, where the 40 Duracell –bunnies create unpredictable rhythms and movement patterns in space. The piece simultaneously illustrates order and disorder, control and disarray, conservatism and quiet rebellion. Performers consist of the bunnies and dancer Marjo Laakkonen. Vera Nevanlinna has an MA in dance, she is a founding member of Gruppen Fyra, a choreographer, a dancer as well as a member of the M.A.D dance troupe. She has also collaborated with sculptor Maria Duncker.
